Take the guesswork out of crediting volunteer time.

See patterns in participation

You can quickly see who’s been active, who hasn’t volunteered recently, and who’s new, so it’s easier to spot who’s engaged and who may need a check-in.

Capture hours as they happen

Volunteers check in, sign up, or log their own time, and everything is recorded automatically, so you’re not left chasing hours afterward.

Still have questions?
Here’s what organizers ask most.

Do volunteers need an account to log their hours?

You can always log hours for anyone as an admin, so volunteers don’t need an account for their time to be counted. Volunteers only need an account if they want to submit their own ad hoc hours, so hours are tied to the right person without duplicates or mix-ups.

Can I correct hours if something changes later?

No, we offer a free version of Timecounts to approved organizations, and our Pro Plan is priced at less than $2 per day. As a mission-driven organization, we’ve intentionally set the Pro Plan below market value to make it accessible to as many nonprofits as possible.

Can I export reports to share with my board or funders?
